I have been using Image Tricks Pro for a few years, and it has become an important part of my graphic design and photo productions. I first got the lite, (free), version, but within a couple of days I upgraded. Over time, updates have added more frames, borders, composite choices, and the manipulation controls are smooth and responsive. I recommend this to anyone who does graphic design on a Mac. I am using OS X 10.8.2

I primarily use this software to optimize and enhance pictures I use on a website I am self hosting. In that vain the program is very easy to use as well as being a valid choice for quick and easy quality adjustments to pictures. Easily a five star rating in my opinion. A nice feature set for the price.

Amazingly great program with tremendous filters and options that rival Photoshop but even better and easier. Extremely easy to use, one click retouching of photos and filter application. Best deal Ive gotten for an image app. No intricate featurers, just great for taking a simple photos and images an applying astounding effects. Well worth 5X the price.

Very easy to use, great frames and masks. Additional tricks would be a plus!

I dont find it that easy to use maybe I just need to use it more to get used it. Right now I find it difficult to navigate.

This is one of the best apps that I have ever bought. It turns minor photos into masterpieces.

Probably the most incredibly diverse and entertaining App Ive ever purchased from Apple. If you do not buy this App, you should probably just toss your Mac in the trash, go back to taking lackluster pics, and continue on with unimpressive editing on iPhoto. If only I could post the original pictures and the subsequent abstract masterpieces created with this software. Dont think, just purchase the app. Guaranteed satisfaction.

I design on Zazzle (TxCowboyDancer Designs) and this app has saved me a lot of time. It has a lot of presets that are single click to apply to images. The program is easy to use immediately. Some of the settings for some of the effects have settings which Id have to open the manual to fully utilize, but every effect comes set to a preset "default" so you can just use the default settings until you get more experienced with the twiddly knobs and widgets. Not that there are a lot of those… this is a very very very clean program with a simple easy to use interface. On a five star scale, I give it a 4.9. I only have one quibble. The exported files are saved at 120dpi or pip. For my work on Zazzle, I really need to have them saved at a minimum of 150 and 300 would be perfect. I emailed the company about this and they quickly and professiionally responded, saying that they would consider this in a future upgrade.

Fantastic App! So easy to use and the effects are Awesome!! There are so many ways to embellish a photo and so easy to save to use on other projects. Great Buy and Great Price for so many ways to chage a photo! Thanks

After playing with Image Tricks Lite, I decided to purchase Image Tricks Pro. I am very happy I decided to go PRO because Tricks PRO has a lot more to offer. The frames are a lot of fun, and I love the fantastic images I have been able to create. I rate Image Tricks Pro a definite five stars!

*** After using for an hour: There are many issues with this program that need to be fixed: the Kaleidoscope and many other filter, Quartz” functin are not functional and some crash my computer, (Mac/Mavericks on a new computer) to freeze. I received an error message saying the app was “damaged" and to uninstall then reinstall, which I did. Too bad, Kaleidoscope is one of my favorite filters. Also the “Generators” filter seems to just work with a color wheel NOT the image you have in the work space. I thought it would use the algorithms on the image I have opened so that I could make background patterns from my images colors and textures not from a simple color spectrum. I’m also wondering what other snags there are…. Initial remarks: Fun app, but at only 72 dots per inch the quality isn’t something I can actually use for print or other projects. Another reviewer said they get 120 dpi, but the max it says I can use is 1600x1600 which comes up as 72dpi in Photoshop. Having said that, I can force it to 300dpi n Photoshop, but the loss of qualidy isn’t acceptable for most projects. Also, would it be possible to add eps as a file format to save in? So, when the very clever developers make it capable of 300dpi I would definately pay more for it as an upgrade (and would have paid more if it had ++ dpi. It’s a very nice program, bun and easy to use. Thanks guys/gals! Nice job.

Have used this program for quite some time and am totally amazed at its abilities to create awesome effects - all too numerous to count. Excellent software for such a reasonable price. I work with photos and digital paintings professionally and have several of the Adobe products - and STILL I always come back to Image Tricks Pro for additional filters and the ease of use this program offers in creating awesome effects. Well worth the money for anyone. Learning to use this program is a breeze. I am very very pleased! Thank you for creating such wonderful software.

What this app does, it does very well. Applies a lot of cool filters and effects. Personally, I would like it if effects, say Gaussian blur, could be applied to part of the image rather than the whole thing.

This is one of my favorite apps to edit photos when i want the extra effect and Image Tricks Lite & Pro has multitudes of them. (I loved the Lite so much i went Pro) It has great Borders and frames that i haven’t seen anywhere else. A drop down menu with different modes for editing such as Quartz-Utility-Flip Flop- vertical & horizontal which has quick way to Flip Flop images and do perspective correction much easier but with more control than other apps. Its Posterizing effect is very good, better than apps i’ve used dedicated for that purpose. I use this app in concert with Pixelmator, and it replaces my need for Photoshop- the Big one i used for years. Many editing apps out there promise more than they can deliver, or they deliver with a crash, this app as with all the ones i’ve used from Belight Software works flawlessly with my Mac.

I LOVE APP QUICK AND EASY TO USE

Best apps ever, like a mini PS, very easy to handle it. My favorite are the composte filters, It is very good masking possibility. Highly reccomanded to everybody!

I am not a professional; I simply like this app because I can do many creative projects with it. My money is not wasted. It is worth its price.
